LES ROUETS
The gîte « Les Rouets » was an old cattle building until it was turned into a gîte in 2017. Pete and Julie bought the property a few years ago and entirely refurbished it; a mix of old and new, traditional and modern, gives « Les Rouets » an undisputed charm.
Cosy and comfy
“Les Rouets” is fully equipped and ready for all seasons and weather. The Charentaises stone keeps it cool in summer and the top grade insulation along with the wood burning fire will keep you warm and cosy in the winter.
Spend time outdoors
Holidays are made to be spent outside. Enjoy the french summer and a barbecue in the garden !
An open-plan living space
The open plan living space means you can all do your own the thing will still being together. The kids can watch TV while the adults have a natter at the kitchen table…if you are not all outside enjoying the sunshine that is !
The kitchen
The kitchen has all mod cons: dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven, microwave etc. It is open plan through to the lounge and dining area meaning that no one is left out when preparing meals.
The outdoors
Outdoors you can enjoy the lawn and flowers in front of the gîte but you also have your own secluded space around the side of the house with outdoor table, barbecue and sun loungers.
THE BLUE ROOM
The Blue Room has two single beds that,of course, come with fresh linen. There is also a dresser and a hanging rail and drawers to keep your clothes nice and tidy.
THE MAIN BEDROOM
The main bedroom is bright and airy and you should have no trouble at all sleeping in the comfortable king size bed.
You will be able to enjoy waking up to the chirping of the birds and the early morning sunshine.
Pete & Julie
Pete and Julie have lived in France for 25 years now with their two daughters. The girls having flown the nest, they have decided to downsize (in the same village!) and open up a gîte.
They will be more than happy to welcome you in the lovely village of Hanc and will no doubt give you good tips to enjoy every ounce of your holidays.
Living just across the courtyard, they will be on hand for any inquiries.
